ANAHUAC, Texas — Sometimes, it’s better to just cut your losses.
A couple was busted with 43 pounds of methamphetamine after they called cops in Texas to report that something had been stolen from their truck.
The Chambers County Sheriff’s office says Dan and Bianca Roba called police after tires had been taken from their 18-wheel tractor trailer at a rest stop along Interstate 10.
When cops arrived, they noticed some “irregularities” on the trailer and upon further inspection, discovered nearly $2 million worth of meth hidden in secret compartments in the trailer.
Dan Roba, 48, of Northbrook, Illinois and Bianca Roba, 45, of Hollandale Beach, Florida, were both charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
