KISSIMMEE, Florida — An enraged Florida man has been busted for trying to kill sex offenders by setting them on fire after dousing their hotel room with gasoline.
Jorge Porto-Sierra is accused of running up to the door of a room at the Friendly Village Inn in Kissimmee on March 7 with a can of gas in his hands, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.
The two men in the room said Porto-Sierra then yelled, “You’re going to die child molester,” before dumping gas all over the entryway and then broke a window and began pouring the flammable liquid into the room, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
The men managed to escape through a rear window. Prosecutors say Porto-Sierra then got into a car and began ramming another vehicle with two people inside, before hopping out to pour gas into the vehicle, cops said.
Three of the victims are sex offenders, police records show.
When cops arrived, Porto-Sierra told them that the people he was trying to kill “raped kids … they deserve to die.”
When asked why he didn’t light the car and room on fire, Porto-Sierra said, “because you got here too soon.”
