JUPITER, Florida — Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
A Florida couple were busted after calling 911 claiming three armed black men were about to storm their home but later admitting to cops that they were high on drugs and had hallucinated the whole thing.
Tatam Guyer, 26, was at 40-year-old James Turner’s home last week when she called police in a panic to report a possible home invasion after spotting the three men in the driveway and that one had entered the house, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s office said.
As several police cruisers raced to the house, Guyer and Turner hopped into his white truck and took off.
Cops were unable to find anyone at the house and caught up to the couple driving nearby. When they pulled over, the officer noted they appeared to “hallucinating, agitated, and kept pointing to the back of the truck saying there was a black male in the back of the truck,” the police report stated.
A search of the truck similarly turned up no sign of anyone. What they did find was a bag of cocaine and a pill bottle containing Xanax and Oxycodone. Turner admitted the drugs were his and said that they had been doing coke and Xanax all night which is “why they were acting this way.”
He was charged with drug possession and Guyer was charged with misuse of the 911 system.
