GREEN BAY, Wisconsin — The FBI may consider the Juggalos a gang, but this guy makes them sound more like a cult.
A Wisconsin man obsessed with the Insane Clown Posse has been sentenced to 3 ½ years in prison for chopping off a woman’s finger with an ax in a twisted celebration of a fellow fan of the rap group who had died.
“Where do you go with this? How can this happen? How can this even happen in Green Bay?” the perplexed judge on the case, John Zakowski said at sentencing.
Jonathan Schrap, 24, admitted that he and a group of pals were holding a “ritualistic memorial” at his house in August to honor a fellow member of the Juggalos — which is what fans of the Insane Clown Posse, or ICP, call themselves — who had died, according to WBAY-TV.
The woman, who is also a Juggalo and told authorities that she was willing participant, said she let Schrap cut her arm with a machete and drink her blood.
She then said she was cool with Schrap cutting off her right pinky finger with the machete while another Juggalo videotaped the episode. According to court documents the amputation took more than one chop.
“Jon then placed the finger in his freezer where he said he would cook it and eat it later,” the court documents read. “The group then attempted to stop the bleeding by using a car cigarette lighter which failed. They then used a blowtorch.”
Schrap and his buddies then drove the profusely bleeding woman back to her boyfriend’s house where his mother told her she needed to go to the hospital. Emergency room staff immediately called cops.
The woman insisted to investigators that she was not under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time and that she did not want criminal charges pursued.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that the woman had recently been released from a psychiatric hospital.
At his sentencing, Schrap — who is covered in ICP tattoos — admitted it was an “idiotic and random act,” and that he was embarrassed that it has negative attention to the Insane Clown Posse and its fans.
