Kansas Rehab Clinic Owner Busted For Drug Trafficking

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — He made some poor career choices.

The owner of a Kansas drug addiction clinic has been indicted on  federal charges for allegedly trafficking in drugs.

Prosecutors say Trevor Robinson, who runs the Nuvista opioid treatment clinic in Olathe, Kansas was arrested in October after cops found a cornucopia of drugs in his Maserati following a traffic stop in Kansas City.

Robinson, 44, had been arrested on an outstanding warrant and a search of his car revealed 1.5 kilos of methamphetamine, plastic bags containing cocaine and heroin, ecstasy, marijuana  and numerous oxycodone and other prescription pills plus a digital scale and $12,548 in cash. 

He was indicted this week on charges of possessing with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and ecstasy.
