MILWAUKEE — He met a stone-cold end.
A man who fled the scene after causing a four car collision was found frozen to death in some bushes where he had gone to hide in subzero weather, authorities said.
Mark Henderson, 36, was on parole for pleading guilty in a 2012 fatal hit-and-run, and ran a red light causing the four car crash in Milwaukee on Dec. 30. He fled before police arrived at the scene, WISN-TV reported.
He apparently hid two blocks away under some bushes in a narrow space between a fence and a shed. Temperatures dipped to -2 degrees that night.
He was found the next day by the property owner and his girlfriend who had gone looking for him after he didn’t return home with her car.
