TAMPA, Florida — It wasn’t much of a disguise.
Florida police are searching for a tutu-clad man and his pal who busted into a Tampa farmer’s market in the middle of the night and gorged themselves on fruit and soda.
The two men broke into the market at 1 a.m. on Nov. 1 by smashing a glass door leading into its business office, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
Cops say the man wearing the tutu may have been wearing a wig and dressed as cheerleader earlier that night as part of a Halloween costume. His accomplice was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with an owl on front.
The store’s owner, John Sansone, figures the guy in the tutu has a screw loose.
“I think it was Halloween and I don’t know if it was like a prank. The way the guy was dressed he didn’t seem like he was playing with a full deck,” he told WTVJ-TV.
