Angelique Sanchez nuked her urine before going to a lab for a drug test
AURORA, Colorado — Urine trouble.
A Denver woman was arrested after she allegedly used a 7-Eleven microwave to warm up a cup of her pee, which exploded inside the appliance, ruining it, cops said.
A clerk at the shop told cops she saw Angelique Sanchez take a white plastic bottle out of the microwave after hearing a bang and smelling the odor of urine. Sanchez then walked out the door.
When the clerk confronted Sanchez and demanded she clean up the mess, she came back and wiped out the machine, but then smeared the urine soaked napkins on the floor and walked out again, cops said.
Cops were called and they found Sanchez at a nearby health center waiting for a physical and urinalysis for a job she was applying for, KOAA-TV reported.
Sanchez insisted the substance was not real urine, and said she didn’t understand why police had been called. According to the arresting officer, Sanchez “scoffed” when told that the $500 microwave was likely damaged.
Sanchez was issued a summons for damaged property and was not allowed to take the drug test that day.
