WEBSTER, Massachusetts — Wearing a stocking over your head while robbing a bank is so passé.
Police in Massachusetts say they are hunting for a woman who drew a phony mustache on her face as a disguise to rob a credit union.
The Webster police department said the woman walked into the Webster First Federal Credit Union around 1 p.m. on Tuesday and handed the teller a threatening note.
The teller complied and the woman made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was hurt.
Cops say the suspect appeared to be a white woman in her mid-20s to mid-30s. She was wearing glasses and a blue hooded jacket at the time.
“We don’t know if she acted alone,” Lt. Michael Shaw told the Worcester Telegram.
