MELBOURNE, Florida — In this case, the customer was definitely wrong.
A hungry Florida woman was arrested for hurling nacho cheese and a sandwich at a 7-11 clerk, and then screaming “The customer is always right!,” police said.
Stephanie Hicks, 31, had gone into the Melbourne, Florida convenience store early Thursday to buy the sandwich and a cup of the nacho cheese, police said.
But she got into an argument with the store clerk who told her not to open the hot cheese dispenser. When Hicks attempted to pay, the clerk refused to serve her. Hicks then threw the cheese and the sandwich in the clerk’s face, cops said.
Hicks later told cops she didn’t like the clerk’s attitude, the Palm Day Daily reported.
When the clerk told Hicks she was calling the cops, Hicks responding by yelling: “The customer is always right!” She was charged with battery.
